New York — Advanced Discovery has further expanded their New York presence with the recent addition of Michael Nelson, as EVP, Managing Partner. In conjunction with the new personnel additions, Advanced has also recently expanded its physical operations footprint in New York with the addition of a second office in mid-town Manhattan.
Michael Nelson joins Advanced Discovery with extensive and innovative in house experience at MetLife. He successfully managed MetLife’s largest matters and the strategy teams appointed, receiving distinguished recognition companywide for his knowledge of technology, leadership and cost savings opportunities/achievement. Michael identifies resources and implements strategies for Fortune 500 Corporate clients and Amlaw top 100 Law firms on legal hold/preservation policies, custodial database design, and best practices for efficient e-discovery and managed review. Michael has also managed multiple international depositions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Management of Technology & Business Administration from the State University of New York and studied his M.B.A at Long Island University C.W. Post.
