ILTACON is of course the annual conference for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). This year it is being held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor MD, just south of Washington, DC, and across the Potomac from Alexandria, VA.
Technically, the show opened last night on Sunday, August 28th, with the annual golf tournament, orientation sessions, and an opening reception that evening. But, the Keynote and Educational Sessions start today on Monday, August 29th, and the Exhibit Hall Opening Reception is tonight from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET, where booths will be decorated as different countries. This is always a great event with a more casual flavor than during the week.
We’ll have several people from Advanced Discovery attending, including myself, and we’ll be available to meet with you all week long. And, I’ll be speaking on panel with Kate Head on Thursday called A Road Map To Gathering and Analyzing Client Discovery Data Across Matters and that immediately after that on the annual Gather ‘Round for a Litigation Support Roundtable.
