Paul Laven possesses more than 18 years of technical project management experience, the last 7 focusing on eDiscovery where he worked extensively in financial, energy, and pharmaceutical projects. Paul is a Relativity Certified Master, with certifications both in Analytics and Assisted Review and specializes in developing efficient and defensible solutions for clients with unusually large or complex issues.
Paul’s experience includes managing large and complex projects for firms involved with multiple simultaneous litigation and investigations, and has managed nearly four hundred cases involving SEC investigations, as well as large energy and pharmaceutical litigation. Paul has developed workflows involving technology assisted review for very large cases with tight deadlines that have saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars in review costs. Paul has provided expert witness testimony and depositions, has been featured on the kCura Advice Blog, has presented case studies at LegalTech NY, and is a retired United States Marine.
Senior Project Manager
Paul Ramsey has more than 7 years’ experience in eDiscovery as both a Project Manager and Account Manager. Paul’s extensive experience includes managing projects from Preservation & Collection through Production within the EDRM. Most recently, Paul acted as the primary point of contact and Lead Project Manager for a corporate oil & gas client whose monthly eDiscovery budget exceeded $2 million for processing and hosting ESI for 21 consecutive months.
Paul prides himself on proactively managing projects through detailed fact finding during project kick‐off, and providing thorough instructions maximizing efficiency in processing and review workflow. He has conducted 500+ hours of classroom facilitation in a corporate training environment including in‐depth user training on Relativity and IPRO Allegro, and is currently working on obtaining his RCA certification.
